Does sauerkraut help with weight loss?
A study in Korea involved 21 patients who ate both fresh and old kimchi (another pickled cabbage product), switching between them.
Both types of kimchi resulted in a reduction in weight and waist circumference.
However, fermented kimchi caused the most significant improvements.
Another weight loss expert suggested a diet with yogurt for breakfast and salmon for dinner.
Clarissa is a nutritionist and a certified member of the British Association of Nutritionists.
For breakfast, she suggested a bowl of live yogurt, a handful of berries, eight to 10 raw nuts, and a small cup of low-sugar granola or muesli.
For dinner, the expert suggested a baked salmon fillet served with steamed broccoli and half a baked sweet potato in wedges.
