Dr. Michael Mosley often shares his weight loss tips with thin people online as well as on TV. He is the creator of The Fast 800, a diet that helps people lose weight fast.
Dr Mosley has previously talked about belly fat with slimming products, describing it as “stubborn” fat because it can be difficult to lose.
According to him, to reduce belly fat, “you have to understand belly fat”.
“And to understand belly fat, you have to understand the basics of how insulin works,” the doctor continued.
“Your body makes insulin after a meal to keep blood sugar levels stable.

“On your cell walls, insulin opens up glucose ports for sugar – to burn muscle and store fat. In your fat, insulin also slows the release of fatty acids into your system.
“Very good – as long as your insulin is working. However, as we age, the insulin receptors in the cell wall become less sensitive.
“As a result, even after a meal, our blood is filled with glucose and fatty acids.
“This is a toxic brew, causing a series of bad results, including rapidly expanding belly fat.”

So how can slimming begin to reduce fat around their waist?
Dr. Mosley recommended three simple steps.
“You can lose belly fat and you can lose it fast,” he said.
The first step is to eat foods low in sugar, along with simple carbohydrates.
Likewise, replace processed carbohydrates like white bread, crisps and pasta with slow-release energy sources, such as brown rice or quinoa.
The second step is intermittent fasting. Dr Mosley said: “Short-term fasting can cause several changes in the body that facilitate fat burning.
“This includes a reduction in insulin, an increase in growth hormone, an improvement in epinephrine signaling, and a small acceleration in metabolism.”
Third, the nutrition expert recommended doing HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) exercises.
He said: “Exercise is essential for a number of reasons. It is one of the best things you can do for a long, healthy life.
“While exercise alone won’t help you lose stubborn fat around your belly, it can be crucial in helping reduce the risk of gaining fat, lowering blood sugar, and improving sensitivity to fat. ‘insulin.
