Washington seafood restaurants included Naylor’s and Bortnick’s

This Naylor then operated three seafood restaurants: at 20 Maine Ave. SW, at 10th and Maine SW and at Georgia Avenue in Wheaton. In his chapter on this branch of the family, Robinson writes: “The platter at Naylor’s Shore included fillet of fish, fried scallops, fried oysters, fried shrimp, crab cake, fish cake, slices of beets, fries and coleslaw – all for $1.50. !”
