This is his first time performing at Just for Laughs for Bob, who identifies as non-binary and uses both the pronouns she/her and he/him.

“I have traveled across Canada several times and I really love this country. But I never did Just for Laughs,” Bob told The Daily Hive. “I am a drag queen. I am an actor. I am a mother of four children and I am an animator. I do comedy based on my perspective as a black queer person. I’m a quasi-celebrity. I think you’ll definitely see a lot of that reflected in my stand-up.

Bob the Drag Queen, also known as Caldwell Tidicue, is definitely having a major moment. She stars alongside Shangela Laquifa Wadley and Eureka O’Hara in HBO’s We are here, which was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Unstructured Reality Series and was renewed for a third season.

“There is something wonderful about being able to give people joy. I know how much I like to laugh, so I like to give people that opportunity too.

As Bob focuses on his stand-up on his On the Road Again winter tour, she still takes time to follow along. RuPaul’s Drag Race and connect with longtime reality competition fans.

“I was watching my old season last night, just kind of nostalgic about it,” Bob explained. “I was like, ‘Wow, the show has come a long way.’ I’m really glad I carried on when I did, you know what I mean?

“I’m really happy to see the progress of having amazing trans women of color on the show. They continue to racially diversify the cast, which is really lovely and amazing. And they’re all so talented.
