PAC is blind … is he joining House of Black?

After a hot start, Malakai Black’s AEW run meandered around for a while. The Cody Rhodes program lasted a long time and included alliances that seemed to be one-off. Then he targeted an undercard act in Varsity Blondes.

But while working with Griff Garrison, Brian Pillman, Jr., and Julia Hart, AEW started teasing major additions to a Malakai-led stable. With the long-reported arrival of Brody King on January 12 Dynamite, the House of Black has added a fundamental piece.

Others may be on their way … or already there. My man Manolo wasn’t the only one wondering about Hart, who still wears an eye patch since Malakai misted her last month, and who urged Garrison, Pillman and Penta El Zero M to show have pity on Black last night.

Then there’s this bastard, who grabbed a face full of black while teaming up with Rhodes against Malakai & Andrade El Idolo …

Selling the effects of a November spot – and leaning into occult imagery like tarot – could certainly mean that PAC’s future depends more on the House of Blacks than the Death Triangle. It’s not like Penta and Rey Fenix haven’t had much success without their friend Geordie. And being part of the Malakai & Brody team would make PAC more than a Zatoichi / Daredevil riff (not that there is NOTHING wrong with a good Zatoichi / Daredevil riff).
