Oprah Winfrey calls out Gayle King for breaking his COVID ‘policy’ in time for special celebration

Oprah Winfrey called her best friend Gayle King for missing a special celebration at her home after the CBS host allegedly failed to complete a four-step COVID-19 “policy” she has for guests.

Winfrey revealed on Facebook just two days before the Christmas holidays that she was demanding that her guests be “vaccinated, boosted, tested and quarantined” before visiting her sprawling estate in Santa Barbara, California.

The media mogul admitted she was so “serious” about the demands that her longtime partner Stedman Graham dubbed her “The Policy.”

“It was the day we came out of our bubble and we knew we had to throw a welcome party for Baby Luca, whom neither of us had met yet!” Winfrey said of the child, who is King’s grandson.

“We missed her grandmother Gayle King, but she will join us once she finishes politics!” Thanks to Bon Fortune Style and Ana’s Balloon Creations for helping to bring baby Luca first time fun to my house. Have a nice safe holiday everyone, ”added the 67-year-old.

It’s unclear which stage King, 67, didn’t meet on December 23, but the friends were reunited a day later, as shown in a second video on his account.

Winfrey was delighted to meet the 3 month old baby, who received a warm welcome as family members gathered outside and sang the “Circle of Life” from “The Lion King”. Winfrey’s house was adorned with blue, white and gold balloons and streamers that read “Welcome Baby Luca”.

“I know you were waiting,” Winfrey told Luca via People. “You waited to see me. I waited to see you.

“I’ve wanted to be a grandmother for a long time, and that’s really something when you see your own child becoming a parent. I’m so crazy about him. And then I held him, Kirby said, ‘You know, you have to support his. neck. Uh, okay! I really know how to do that! ”The show’s reporter said on“ CBS This Morning ”.

Although King was a day late, Winfrey made sure to put everything in place for their Christmas reunion, revealing that she had a chef create the CBS host’s favorite dessert, Bread from monkey.
