One dead, two injured in Etobicoke shooting: police

A shooting in Etobicoke on Monday night left one dead and two injured, Toronto police said.

This happened at an industrial complex in the Thirtieth Street and Lake Shore Boulevard West area just before 9 p.m.

Police initially said they had located three victims at the scene with gunshot wounds. Two of the victims, both male, were rushed to hospital with serious injuries where one was pronounced dead.

A third victim rushed to hospital with minor injuries, police said.

No other information about the victims was released by the police.

No less than 24 police vehicles were on the scene to respond to the incident, police told CP24. Road closures in the region are to be expected as a homicide investigation is underway.

No suspicious information was disclosed by the police.
