Dr. Michael Carter, Senior Property Historian at English Heritage, will speak at St Mary’s Church in Hampstead on Sunday January 9, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the Dissolution of the Monasteries.

What are the facts about this event as opposed to the popular fictional narrative? Dr Carter’s role means he is responsible for the preservation of the histories of the ruined monasteries, abbeys and priories of England. Come and hear rigorously researched testimonials that will tell you a more nuanced, complicated and contrary story to that of fiction writers.

This conference promises to be revealing and informative.

To reserve a spot, please email Parish Administrator Mary Stanier at: hampstead@rcdow.org.uk

The conference will also be broadcast live here: www.churchservices.tv/hampstead
