A large cannabis farm worth around £400,000 has been uncovered at a Birmingham home. The discovery was made at a house in Hillyfields Road in the Stockland Green area of Erdington at around 11am on Tuesday (May 17).
Officers from Erdington and Kingstanding raided the property where some 400 cannabis plants were found. The Erdington policing team Tweeted: “Erdington Impact Team uncover a large cannabis farm up-to 400 plants have been seized from an address in Stockland Green. Thanks to Kingstanding police for assisting with the emptying of the property.”
West Midlands Police confirmed it is investigating the incident. But also said as yet no arrests have been made.

A spokesman for the force said: “Some 400 cannabis plants have been removed from a house on HIllyfields Road. They have now been destroyed as our investigation continues.
“No arrests at this time. The drugs were found at around 11am on 17 May. Contact us in the usual way quoting 20/410346/22 if you can help.”
