#LanderBiz: Awaken Fitness and Wellness opens January 8

#landerbiz, presented by the Lander Chamber of Commerce, shares the stories of local movers and shakers in our Fremont County economy.

(Lander, WY) – Annie Cook and Siobhan Fahey are delighted to bring the Awaken Fitness and Wellness community located at 1255 Main Street, inside Palace Pharmacy. They officially open their doors on Saturday January 8.

These two single moms scrambled and worked hard to fund and fully open this new fitness center that combines their expertise in fitness, wellness and science.

Awaken Fitness and Wellness is a safe place where everyone is welcome, both shared. We are here to help people determine their fitness and wellness and to find the power within them.

In addition to the gym, a variety of fitness classes are offered, such as yoga, zumba, and HIIT, open to members and non-members alike.

Their grand opening on Jan. 8 kicks off with several fitness classes, including a boxing class from Kimball Davis, a winning professional boxer from Salt Lake City.

The opening fitness classes are shared below, along with how to enroll.

The wellness center includes a floating basket, a cold bath and an infrared sauna. Massage therapy is also available.

They have a protein bar open to everyone – no membership required. Items like smoothies, smoothie bowls, and protein snacks are available.

Awaken Fitness and Wellness has its own supplements available for purchase. Annie and Siobhan formulated them and they are made in an FDA regulated facility located in Salt Lake City.

Additional fitness options include nutritional counseling, personal training, and personalized blood tests.

They stressed the importance of focusing on the individual and providing people with the best opportunities they can have, regardless of their age and gender.

They offer different levels of membership, including a reduced rate for students, seniors, and veterans. They are also affiliated with SilverSneakers, a Medicare affiliate, which can help cover the cost of membership for seniors.

Check out the leaflet below which outlines their membership offers and pricing for classes, wellness and more.
