BTS sweeps 4 of 10 spots on U.S. 2021 best-selling digital song list

For the second year in a row, BTS won the best-selling song of the year in the United States!

On January 6 local time, Billboard revealed that according to MRC Data (formerly Nielsen Music), BTS hit hit “Butter” was the top-selling digital song in the United States in 2021, grossing 1.89 million. digital copies sold.

Impressively, BTS swept four of the top 10 spots on the list for 2021: not only did “Butter” top the list at # 1, but “Permission to Dance” came in at # 3 (404,000 copies) , their 2020 hit “Dynamite” at # 6 (308,000) and their Coldplay collaboration “My Universe” at # 7 (287,000).

BTS also had the best-selling song of the year in the United States in 2020, when “Dynamite” sold 1.26 million digital copies.
