Brian Austin Green reportedly had a lackluster response to his ex-wife Megan Fox’s engagement to Machine Gun Kelly this week.
An insider told E! News Friday, the 48-year-old “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum was “not surprised she got engaged and knew it was coming.”
“He’s focused on his kids and just being there for them,” the source added.
A rep for the actor did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Green doesn’t appear to follow Fox, 35, on Instagram, so he didn’t leave a congratulatory message when he announced his proposal.
However, the former ‘Dancing With the Stars’ contestant insisted in July 2021 that he and the ‘Transformers’ star, who share sons Noah, 9, Bodhi, 7, and Journey, 5 , “get along well”.
“We are both working really hard to get along and co-parenting well for our kids,” Green wrote on Instagram at the time. “Now stay safe and spread kindness and love.”
The former couple separated in late 2019 after nearly 10 years of marriage, and Fox was already dating MGK, 31, the following spring.
The ‘Jennifer’s Body’ star and musician met while filming ‘Midnight in the Switchgrass’ and were first photographed together in May 2020.
The self-proclaimed “twin flames” went on to parade with their PDAs on nearly every red carpet they attended.
MGK – whose real name is Colson Baker – popped the question almost a year and a half after stepping out with a unique engagement ring made up of their two birthstones.
“We asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we were going to face together in such a short and frantic time,” Fox said of their romance alongside a video of the proposal on Wednesday. “Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would demand of us but drunk on love. And karma.
His poetic message continued, “Somehow, a year and a half later, after going through hell together and laughing more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him. And like in all lifetimes before this, and like in all lifetimes after, I said yes…and then we drank each other’s blood.
Meanwhile, Green is in a happy relationship.
He and “Dancing With the Stars” pro Sharna Burgess celebrated a year of dating in October 2021. Green and Fox reached a divorce settlement the same month.
