STOUGHTON, MASS. (WHDH) – Stoughton Public Schools is letting students know that vending machines aren’t just for snacks and drinks – they’re for books, too.

The district’s five elementary schools received book vending machines customized with school logos along with artwork by local author and illustrator Jarrett Lerner, Stoughton Public Schools wrote on Facebook Thursday.

The machines are filled with children’s books.

Students will receive tokens to use for a free book, Stoughton Public Schools explained.

They can earn extra tokens from their manager for good behavior, acts of kindness, and accountability.
