Belfast Fire: Live updates as firefighters rush to the scene of the fire at Belfast Docks

Emergency services are currently at the scene of a major fire in Belfast.

A fire broke out in the area of ‚Äč‚ÄčEast Twin Road, which is near the docks.

A spokesperson for the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service told Belfast Live that crews were arriving at the scene at 1.33 p.m. Tuesday.

Port police are on the scene this afternoon as large plumes of black smoke can be seen throughout the city.

An eyewitness told Belfast Live: “Minor bangs and crackles are heard.”
