Arrest warrant issued for suspect accused of stabbing man at Mississauga shopping center

A warrant was issued for the arrest of a wanted suspect in connection with a stabbing at a Mississauga shopping center earlier this week.

Police said on January 5 at around 5:50 p.m., officers were called to a shopping center in the Hurontario Street and Burnhamthorpe Road area for being stabbed.

Investigators allege that a suspect entered the mall with a knife and assaulted a male victim, who suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Police said they identified the suspect as Michael Ramos, 22, of Mississauga.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Ramos, who is now wanted for aggravated assault and failure to comply with a court order.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about the incident or the suspect’s whereabouts to contact the 11th Division’s Bureau of Criminal Investigations.
