Until now The extentthe sixth season of, we saw Amos (Wes chatham) hair the Rocinantethe role of in what feels endless war with Marco Inaros (Keon Alexander) and his Free Navy. He’s worried he won’t be paid enough, of course, but he’s also worried that Captain James Holden (Steven Strait) will lead his crew down a path that is not what Amos has signed up for.
In last week’s episode, “Force Projection,” we saw Holden make the last-second decision to disarm the missile that would have wiped out Marco’s ship, the Pella. He could have ended the conflict on the spot, but he withdrew because the Pella also carried Filip (Jasai Chase Owens), Marco’s teenage son with ROCKS engineer Naomi (Dominique Tipper), who happens to be Holden’s girlfriend. It was a quick decision based on mountains of emotions, okay? But since only Holden (and all of us Extent viewers) knew what really happened, everyone else involved was like, “Phew! A miss ! or “Damn it! A creepy missed? ”, Depending on which side they were on.
That should change this week, as revealed in this exclusive clip from episode four, “Redoubt”. As curious and concerned about the “failure” as the rest of the ROCKS crew, Fisheries (Nadine nicole) does a little under the bridges investigates the guns, and reveals startling information she shows Amos, noting that what she has discovered is “well above my pay level.”
Oh you know Amos is going to manipulate that, okay. We’ll have another clip for “Redoubt” coming on Thursday, and then you can stream the entire episode on Friday on Amazon Prime.
